Exhibitor Appointed Contractors AssociationThe Challenge:The EACA's goal is to improve communication and provide value to their membership of tradeshow services contractors. Corporate exhibit managers needed a more efficient, lower-cost and less time-consuming process for communicating with convention facilities managers and the contractors providing transportation, setup, personnel and models, photography, A/V, security, electrical and other services. EACA member contractors wanted a centralized "virtual" resource for industry news, nationwide training and certification, access to a database of industry professionals, tradeshow information and group rate materials and supplies purchasing. The Solution:The EACA website employs an online registration system powered by Alpine. Once an exhibitor such as Intel or HP hires a member contractor to provide tradeshow services, the site enables an automated, paperless system for exhibitors to request and show managers to issue security credentials to member contractors, eliminating the inefficient paper-based manual system and improving tradeshow security and safety. The Center Stage Content Management System allows the association to create unlimited web content, with built-in flexibility and scale to accommodate growth of the organization and its membership. The EACA also saves members time, money and overhead by capturing, archiving and enabling the members to forward work authorization forms, insurance certifiactes and badge requests. |
