They discovered that if they began with a mild japanese rice wine vinegar and added their own blend of seasonal herbs, they could create blends that were delicious as salad dressings, marinades and sauces. Seeing as how the state bird of Oregon is the meadow lark, and the initials of "Lita and Ray Kilpatrick" spell the word lark, they felt that it was only fitting to call themselves Lark Gardens. With their new website, Lark Gardens is now able to sell their full line of gourmet herbal flavored vinegars over the web. An online product catalog makes browsing their different flavors a breeze, and a separate catalog lets them offer wholesale quantities and pricing to interested parties. |
